Pavan Mudunuru

Pavan Mudunuru has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of engineering. Pavan began their career as a CAD Coop Engineer at National Semiconductor Corporation, where they worked on the quality assurance of layout tools. Pavan then moved on to Cypress Semiconductor, where they served as a Senior Design Engineer, specializing in the design and layout of analog circuits for image sensors. Pavan then worked at Sensata Technologies as a Senior Design Engineer, focusing on the design of analog and mixed-signal circuits for bias, opamp, and ADCs.

In 2010, Pavan joined Autoliv as a Hardware Team Lead, taking on a leadership role in developing radar systems for automotive applications. Pavan later became a Hardware Design Manager, responsible for the hardware system design of next-generation radar systems.

In 2018, Pavan joined Veoneer as a Senior Design Manager, where they were temporarily relocated to Northern California to establish a partnership with Velodyne. Pavan acted as the technical leader, overseeing the integration of both teams and redesigning Velodyne's rotational LiDAR for automotive production. After successfully establishing the partnership and support team, Pavan returned to the Greater Boston area to facilitate better collaboration between the European and US teams.

Most recently, in 2021, Pavan served as the Vice President of Engineering at Analog Photonics. Currently, they hold the position of Principal LiDAR Team Lead at Motional, where they continue to contribute their expertise and leadership skills in LiDAR technology.

Pavan Mudunuru completed their Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology from 1998 to 2002. Pavan further pursued their education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale between 2002 and 2004.
