Vanessa Wiegel

Vanessa Wiegel currently serves as the Senior Director of Design & Research at Motional, where leadership encompasses Product Design, User Research, Human Factors, Industrial Design, and Prototyping teams. Prior roles include serving as Director of Design Research at iRobot, where Vanessa founded and led the design research team, shaping long-term product strategies and overseeing user research. Additionally, Vanessa is an Advisory Board Member for Bentley University's Human Factors in Information Design Advisory Board. With a solid foundation in media development from WGBH and a Master of Science in Human Factors in Information Design from Bentley University, Vanessa combines extensive experience in design research with a strong educational background in the field.
