Lakin Duplessis

Lakin Duplessis has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. In 2012, they worked as a Human Resources Manager at ADVANCED QUALITY CONSTRUCTION, INC. They then transitioned to an Inside Sales role at FC Tech LLC from 2013 to 2014. In 2015, Duplessis became a Licensed Massage Therapist at Stone Creek Club and Spa, a role they held until 2017. During this time, they also worked as an Accounts Receivable Specialist at Arcco Power Systems for a few months in 2017. From February to November 2017, Duplessis served as a Cost Analyst at Ohmstede Ltd., where they were responsible for payroll processing and implementing accurate reporting systems. In 2018, they worked as a Planner Tech at Zachry Group for a few months before transitioning to a Field Resource Coordinator role at McDermott International Inc., where they handled various responsibilities related to quality control. From 2021 to 2022, Duplessis worked as a Quality Control Administrator at Gemma Power Systems, LLC. Currently, they are an Accounting Associate at MotionPoint, starting in May 2022.

Lakin Duplessis began their education at St. Amant High School from 2001 to 2005, where they earned their high school diploma in General Studies. After high school, they attended ITI Technical College from an unknown start year and completed their Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Computer Networking in 2011. In 2013 and 2014, Lakin attended the Medical Training College, where they obtained a license in Massage Therapy/Therapeutic Massage. Currently, they are pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Forensic Psychology at Southern New Hampshire University, starting in 2017 and expected to graduate in 2023. Adding to their educational achievements, Lakin obtained several certifications, including the Jira Fundamentals Badge, Jira Service Management Fundamentals Badge, and Beginner's Guide to Agile in Jira Badge from Atlassian in late 2022. Furthermore, in 2015, they became a Licensed Massage Therapist through the Louisiana Board of Massage Therapy.
