Anand Srinivasan

Director, Vehicle Systems Engineering at Motiv Power Systems

Anand Srinivasan is currently the Director of Vehicle Systems Engineering at Motiv Power Systems. Anand has previously worked as a Program Engineer at Triumph International, and as a Product Engineer at Ford Motor Company.

Srinivasan began their career in April 1996 as a Program Engineer at Tenneco. In this role, they successfully managed and launched Ford's 1999 F-Series pick Up/ Expedition and Navigator SUV's exhaust after treatment systems. Anand also established major milestones for program launch, and led Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) meetings at production sites.

In April 2001, Srinivasan transitioned to Ford Motor Company as a Product Engineer. In this role, they led the design and development of Gas and Diesel Exhaust after-treatment systems for Ford's North American Truck programs. Anand also co-led DFA/DFM reviews with Manufacturing Operations, and managed Supply chain functions with Tier1 and Tier2 suppliers. Additionally, Srinivasan supported product launches at Assembly plants, and successfully launched a car program at Wixom Assembly Plant in Michigan as a Manufacturing Process Engineer in the body shop.

After their time at Ford Motor Company, Srinivasan became the Director of Vehicle Systems Engineering at Motiv Power Systems. In this role, they are responsible for leading the engineering team that designs, develops, and validates complete electric powertrains for commercial vehicles.

Anand Srinivasan received their MS in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso and their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Industrial & Production Engg from NIE, Mysore.

They are on a team with and Sanjay Patel - Director, Application Engineering. Their manager is Jim Castelaz, CTO & Founder.
