Ruann van der Merwe

Ruann van der Merwe has a diverse work experience, beginning with their role as Executive Assistant to the CEO of Ecolonias in 2011. Ruann then took on the role of English Co-ordinator at ETS in the same year. In 2014, they became the Founder of Las Orejitas and CoFounder of SmokeMasters. In 2015, they became the Marketing Professional and Account Development Lead at QuanticMind. In 2018, they were the Head of Business Development at Adya, which was acquired by Qualys. In 2019, they were the Head of Business Development at MotiveMetrics and an Advisor at Huddle Spot. In 2020, they became a Founding Member of SDReady and an Advisor at Intuitio Labs.

Ruann van der Merwe obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Economical Sciences from Stellenbosch University between 2006 and 2010. They also obtained an Economical Sciences degree from Stellenbosch University between 2005 and 2010. Additionally, Ruann van der Merwe obtained a Social Media certification from the University of Cape Town in January 2015, a TEFL certification from TEFL International in January 2011, an Entrepreneurship Essentials certification from Harvard Business School Online, and a Google Adwords certification from Google.
