Cody Pack

Cody Pack has extensive work experience in the field of database administration and cloud services. Cody is currently serving as the Director of Cloud Services at Motorcity Systems since January 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as the Director of Data Services at the same company from July 2019 to January 2022.

Before joining Motorcity Systems, Cody worked at BluJay Solutions as the Manager - Global Database Services from August 2011 to July 2019. In this role, they led a team supporting over 400 databases globally and established the Global Standard for the entire Oracle stack. Cody successfully managed various migration projects and implemented modern Oracle best practices.

From August 2011 to July 2016, Cody worked as the DBA Manager at LeanLogistics, where they played a crucial role in revolutionizing the company's Oracle database implementation. Cody achieved significant accomplishments such as global database standardization, implementation of Oracle Maximum Availability Architecture principles, and migration of Oracle DR platforms to AWS cloud destinations.

At Caterpillar Financial, Cody worked as a Senior Oracle Database Administrator from October 2001 to July 2011. Cody led the unification of Oracle instances, resulting in improved uptime and performance and significant cost savings. Cody also led the design and implementation of enterprise Oracle 10g/11g with Real Application Cluster (RAC).

Earlier in their career, Cody served as the IT Operations Manager at Automated Solutions Inc. from June 1999 to September 2001. In this role, they directed a team of technical consultants and managed all aspects of operations, including project coordination, solution design, and technical installations.

Cody Pack pursued their education from 1991 to 1994 at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). During this time, they completed coursework towards a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics/Physics.
