Baz Gharibi

Baz Gharibi has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of transport planning. Baz currently works at Mott MacDonald as a Project Principal and Transport Lead for Wales, overseeing the delivery of the High Speed Rail 2 project. Prior to this role, they served as Vice President and Director of Middle East - Transport & Urban Planning at LOUIS BERGER INTERNATIONAL. Baz also held the position of Head of Transport Planning at WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff in the Middle East. Gharibi has a long history with Mott MacDonald, where they worked as a Technical Director and Manager of Integrated Transport Planning in the Middle East, and previously as a Technical Director and Principal Transport Modeller in the Integrated Transport Division in Cardiff. Other notable roles in their career include positions at Cardiff County Council, Arup, ADL Traffic Engineering, Brown & Root, and Warwickshire CC.

Baz Gharibi has a postgraduate diploma in Transportation and Highway Engineering from Birmingham Polytechnic, which they obtained from 1985 to 1986. Baz also holds a Master's degree in the same field from The University of Salford, which they completed from 1986 to 1988.
