Michael A Salvato

Michael A Salvato has extensive experience in infrastructure advisory and management. Michael A is currently serving as the Vice President of Infrastructure Advisory Services at Mott MacDonald, where they provide technical and asset management advisory services to improve business performance. Prior to this, they worked at the State of NY Metropolitan Transportation Authority as the Director and Program Executive, leading a transformational program to improve the lifecycle management of public assets in the New York transportation system. Michael A has also held positions at NYU Tandon School of Engineering as a Professor and Industry Researcher, at New York University as an Advisor to the Senior Vice Provost Research and Director of the Center for Urban Science and Progress, and at the NY MTA Capital Construction Company as a Senior Director. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated their expertise in strategic initiatives, capital program budget and administration, and smart city development.

Michael A Salvato earned a Masters degree in Urban Planning from New York University from 1990 to 1994. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economic Geography from the State University of New York at New Paltz. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Asset Management, Certified Reliability Leader, Managing Successful Programmes Practitioner, PRINCE2 Practitioner, and Prosci Change Manager Practitioner from various institutions.
