Mohammad Reza Jafari

Mohammad Reza Jafari, Ph.D., P.E. has a extensive work experience in tunnel and geotechnical engineering. Mohammad Reza has held various roles at multiple companies such as Mott MacDonald, McMillen Jacobs Associates, CDM Smith, STV Inc., and academic institutions including Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at MIT and Geotechnical Engineering Group at University of Cambridge. Their roles have included being a Principal Project Manager, Senior Associate, and Research Associate. Mohammad Reza has been involved in several projects and has expertise in tunnel and geotechnical engineering.

Mohammad Reza Jafari, Ph.D., P.E. obtained their Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering from UNSW between 1990 and 1995. Prior to that, they completed their M.Sc in Geotechnical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic from 1986 to 1988. Their undergraduate degree in Structural Engineering was earned from Sharif University of Technology between 1978 and 1986.
