Beatriz Acevedo has a strong background in clinical research coordination and administrative support. Beatriz has worked at various medical centers and universities, where they have taken on roles such as Lead Clinical Research Coordinator, Research Coordinator, Clinical Research Support Coordinator, and Administrative Assistant. In their roles, they have been responsible for tasks such as assessing feasibility for new studies, managing financial reports, coordinating protocol-specific testing, and organizing meetings and events. Beatriz is experienced in communicating with research authorities, sponsors, IRBs, and physicians to ensure the successful implementation of research protocols.
Beatriz Acevedo received their Bachelor's degree in Health Service Administration from Florida International University in 2011. Beatriz then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Health Services Administration at Florida International University from 2022 to 2023. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) certification from ACRP - Association of Clinical Research Professionals in May 2012. Beatriz also completed The Leadership Essentials Program at Florida International University in 2020. Furthermore, they received certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association in 2011, and in How to Manage Clinical Trial Finances from CRST in 2009. Beatriz is currently pursuing additional certifications in Blue Ocean Shift: Beyond Competing and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt in 2023.
