Luiz Oliveira

Luiz Oliveira is an Associate Professor of Chemistry at Mount Vernon Nazarene University since September 2020, previously serving as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Cincinnati from August 2018 to September 2020. Prior experience includes a role as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Washington from November 2015 to August 2018 and at Université Paul Sabatier and CNRS from February 2013 to October 2015. Luiz began academic training as a PhD student at CEA Grenoble from November 2009 to 2012, culminating in a PhD in Physical Chemistry from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (2009-2012). Education includes a Master’s degree in Biophysics from ENS Lyon (2007-2008) and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (2004-2007).
