Karl Jackson

Karl Jackson is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in the field of chemistry. Currently serving as an Associate Professor and Interim Special Assistant to the Dean at Virginia State University since June 2022, Jackson previously held multiple positions at Virginia Union University from August 2013 to June 2022, including Associate Professor of Chemistry, Chair of the Department of Natural Sciences, and Assistant Professor of Chemistry. Prior experience also includes a role as a Lecturer in Chemistry at Appalachian State University from January 2012 to May 2013, focusing on General Chemistry. Jackson earned a PhD in Chemistry from Virginia Commonwealth University between 2007 and 2011, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Virginia State University, obtained from 2002 to 2006.
