Ann Meeks

Ann Meeks has been an English teacher at Mountain Heights Academy since November 2017. Prior to that, they were an account manager at Harmony Educational Services from July 2013 to November 2017. From July 2012 to June 2013, they were a high school English teacher at American Heritage School where they developed the first AP English course taught at the school. Ann also taught classes in writing, journalism, history and literature. Many of their students won writing and speaking awards. From July 2011 to June 2012, they were the English Department Chair/College Admission Counselor at Meridian School where they reviewed and revised all English courses to provide continuity to the department. Ann also taught courses in literature, writing and college preparation. Additionally, they acted as the school college admission counselor helping students prepare scholarship and college applications. Ann Meeks has also been a business owner of ACE the ACT Test Prep Boot Camps and office manager of Family Chiropractic Center from March 1995 to June 2011.

Ann Meeks has a Master of Arts in Education from George Wythe University, a Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, and Secondary Education from Utah State University, and is a graduate of Weber High School.

They work with Emily Gibson - English Teacher & ELL Coordinator, Jamie Parry - English Teacher, and Maxx Stewart - English Teacher. Ann Meeks reports to Jenny Dawman, English Teacher, Team Lead.
