Christopher Avila, Ed. D., has extensive experience in educational technology and administration, currently serving as the SIS/CALPADS Coordinator for the Mountain View-Los Altos Union High School District since August 2014. In this role, Christopher plans and implements CALPADS and manages student data systems, ensuring compliance with state and federal reporting requirements. Previous positions include Technology Coordinator for the same district, Special Education Aide at Palo Alto Unified School District, Freelance Sports Stringer for the Associated Press, Co-Owner of Shamrock Media, LLC, IT Coordinator for Canutillo ISD, and Documentation Analyst for Ysleta ISD. Christopher holds an Ed.D in Educational Leadership and Foundations and an M.Ed in Educational Administration and Leadership from The University of Texas at El Paso, as well as a BBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Notre Dame.
