Luke Santos

Luke Santos has extensive work experience in the education sector. Luke started their career in 2007 as a Special Education Teacher in the Torrance Unified School District, where they worked until 2012. After that, they joined James Logan High School as a Resource Specialist from 2012 to 2014. In 2014, Luke moved to the Torrance Unified School District again, this time as an ASSISTT Educator in the Program for students with ASD until 2016. From 2017 to 2023, Luke worked as an Academic Communication Teacher (SPED) in the Fremont Union High School District. Currently, they hold the position of Head of the Academic Communication Program at the Mountain View-Los Altos Union High School District, starting in 2023.

Luke Santos completed their Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from San Francisco State University from the year 2000 to 2004. Luke later pursued a Masters degree in Special Education from National University Los Angeles, which they completed from 2005 to 2010.
