Rick Lyon

Rick Lyon has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and planning. Rick started their career at Verizon in 1981 and held various positions in the Engineering and Planning department, including circuit design, transport/transmission engineering, and central office planning. From 2003 to 2010, Rick served as Section Manager in Network Engineering and Planning at Verizon, responsible for central office and outside plant planning in Ohio, and later in Michigan as well.

In 2010, Rick joined Frontier Communications as Manager of Network Engineering, overseeing projects for DSLAM's, HSI/DSL congestion relief, and interoffice facility relief/augmentation. Rick later became Director of Ohio Regional Engineering and Construction, leading a team of engineers and construction personnel and managing all Frontier properties in Ohio.

In 2017, Rick joined MOUNTAIN, Ltd. as a Broadband/ISP Engineer. Currently, they are also the Co-owner and Facilities Administrator at Marion Brewing Company, a position they have held since 2019.

Rick Lyon obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering from Franklin University, where they attended from 1986 to 1989. Rick further pursued higher education at Ashland University, where they earned a Master of Business Administration degree in Management from 1991 to 1993.
