Senior Gameplay Engineer at Mountaintop Studios

Pierre-Olivier Chartrand began their career in 2016 as an IT Intern at Ivanhoé Cambridge, where they addressed computer related problems by phone and email, diagnosed problems on multiple software, hardware and networks, and managed an Active Directory of more than 4000 users and groups. Pierre-Olivier then worked as a Software Developer at OSSimTech, where they served as an Unreal Engine architecture consultant and developed multiple open surgery simulations with surgeons and medical experts. In 2017, they joined Ubisoft Montréal as a Gameplay Programmer and Network Programmer, working on Ubisoft's game replication SDK and coordinating with game productions to develop modern replication and general data transport features. In 2020, they moved to Google Stadia as a Gameplay Programmer, and in 2021 they joined Haven Studios Inc in the same role. Most recently, they are a Senior Gameplay Engineer at Mountaintop Studios.

Pierre-Olivier Chartrand completed their High School degree at Polyvalente Chanoine-Armand-Racicot from 2008 to 2013. Pierre-Olivier then went on to complete their DEC in Computer Science at Cégep du Vieux-Montréal from 2013 to 2016.
