David Dias

Quality Assurance Technical Engineer at MOV.AI

David Dias has worked in various roles in the engineering field since 2015. In 2015, they were an Intern at INESC-ID, where they developed multiple Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) using Unity3D for interactive modeling of Super Polygons. In 2017, they were a Traineeship at Aalto University, where they developed a Graphical User Interface (GUI) to assist in an active learning user study. That same year, they were a Research Assistant at the Institute for Systems and Robotics (ISR-Lisboa), where they developed firmware for a nano quadcopter platform (Crazyflie), and software to receive and process the streamed data. In 2018, they completed an Internship at Bridge Robotics. From 2019-2021, they worked at GMV as an Intelligent Transport Systems Engineer, where they were the lead engineer in the development of an ECU simulator responsible for providing GNSS data to an AUTOSAR Adaptive Application. Currently, they are a Quality Assurance Technical Engineer and Robotics Implementation Engineer at MOV.AI - The Robotics Engine Platform\u2122, where they are responsible for the end-to-end integration of robots in the platform and is learning about robot safety.

David Dias completed their Master in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico from 2012 to 2018. In 2016, they also completed a Master in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Aalto University. David has also obtained certifications from LinkedIn, SGS-TÜV Saar, and BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, including Being an Effective Team Member, Remote Work Foundations, Introduction in ISO 26262 for Software Engineers Module K9, and ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level 2018.
