VP of Sales at Movella

Cj Hoogsteen is the current VP Sales & Marketing at Movella. Prior to this, they were the Group Sales & Marketing Director (CCO) at MeteoGroup from January 2010 to October 2017. There, they were responsible for sales, sales support and marketing worldwide (60M€, 100 FTE) and was a member of the executive board. In their role, they successfully implemented and executed a new sales process and strategy, reorganizing 18 country teams into 5 worldwide operating sector sales teams. Additionally, they built the global sales support team, tender team and marketing function from the ground up. Under their leadership, the company introduced and implemented KPI, KAM, OTE, Salesforce.com, successfully increasing market share and developing new markets.

Before joining MeteoGroup, Hoogsteen was the Commercial Director Central Europe at Honeywell from July 2004 to December 2009. In this role, they were responsible for developing and executing the commercial strategy for the Central European business. Prior to that, they were the Sales Manager Healthcare at Johnsondiversey from May 2002 to June 2004. In this role, they successfully managed and grew the healthcare sales business in Germany.

Cj Hoogsteen has a master’s degree in management engineering from the University of Twente and a degree in international economics and modern languages from Université de Rennes I.

Cj Hoogsteen works with Boele De Bie - COO, Shiv Sabesan - VP Health Solutions, and Steve Smith - CFO. Their manager is Ben Lee, CEO.
