Logan S. Casey, PhD is the Director of Policy Research at Movement Advancement Project, where they focus on providing research and analysis to advance equality for LGBTQ individuals. Prior to this role, Logan was a Research Associate in Public Opinion at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, where they designed surveys and analyzed public opinion on health and domestic policy issues. They also worked as a Graduate Student Research Associate at University of Michigan, where they received their PhD in Political Science and Government.

MAP's mission is to provide independent and rigorous research, insight, and analysis that help speed full equality for LGBT People. Founded in 2006, the Movement Advancement Project is an independent think tank that provides rigorous research, insight and analysis that help speed equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people. MAP’s work is focused on three primary areas: Policy Movement Capacity Effective Messaging MAP’s work helps educate and persuade public audiences (such as policymakers, allied organizations and funders, media and the American public) and helps support LGBT movement audiences (including LGBT organizations and advocates, and LGBT funders).
