Niko Holkko

Niko Holkko is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience at Moventas, currently serving as a Principal Engineer since October 2016, following Moventas' acquisition by Flender. Niko's role integrates project management with chief product design, reflecting a strong leadership capability. Previous positions include Mechanical Engineer, where focus was on conceptual design of gearboxes, and Design Engineer, providing 3D modeling, reverse engineering, and support for wind turbine gearboxes. Niko’s career at Moventas began as a Designer Trainee, progressing through various roles including logistician and warehouse worker. Niko holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tampere University of Technology.
