Magnus Wahlund

Magnus Wahlund has a diverse work experience in the financial industry, with a focus on risk management and actuarial work. Magnus started their career in 2003 as an Actuary at Premiepensionsmyndigheten, and later moved on to roles at Handelsbanken Liv and Skandia. In 2011, they joined Swedbank Försäkring as an Actuary, where they were responsible for pillar 1 calculations and heavily involved in pillar 2 and pillar 3. In 2016, they joined MOVESTIC KAPITALFÖRVALTNING AB as the CRO / Head of Risk Control function, and also took on the role of CRO / Head of Risk Management Function at Movestic Liv & Pension. Throughout their career, Magnus has gained expertise in risk management, actuarial calculations, and financial services.

Magnus Wahlund pursued their education with a strong focus on economics and finance. Magnus started their academic journey in 1997 at KTH, where they earned a degree in Civilingenjör, specializing in Mathematics and Programming. Following this, from 2000 to 2003, they attended Stockholm University, where they obtained a degree in Civilekonom with a concentration in Finance. Additionally, in 2002, Magnus participated in an Erasmus exchange program at Università degli studi Roma TRE, studying Economics in Italian.
