Sofie Tham has a diverse and extensive work experience in human resources. Sofie started their career in 2000 as a Recruitment Specialist at PersonalPoolen. From 2001 to 2005, they co-founded and served as the CEO of Synk HR-consulting, where they focused on recruitment, tests, interviews, marketing, and sales. Sofie then worked as a Competence Development and Recruiting HR Specialist at Riksbyggen for a year.
In 2008, Sofie became the Head of HR at Tobii Technology, where they managed various HR functions, including leadership development, values and culture, performance planning, and recruitment. Sofie also provided support to managers and led workshops globally. After that, they worked as an HR Chief at Samhall AB, where they oversaw HR operations for a large organization employing 20,000 people.
Sofie's next role was an HR Manager at Peab, where they led the HR team, developed new leadership and recruitment strategies, and initiated programs for inclusion, equality, and female sponsorship. Currently, they are the Head of HR and In-house Communication at Movestic Liv & Pension, where they focus on developing culture, leadership, and strategies for the organization while overseeing recruitment, competence development, and internal communication.
Sofie Tham completed their Bachelor's degree from Lund University between 1997 and 2000. During this time, they studied Labour Law, Psychology, and Organization. Prior to that, from 1994 to 1995, Sofie attended The College of Wooster where they studied Psychology, Astronomy, and Russian History.
