Mike Kalop

Mike Kalop has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mike started their career at Cascade Corporation as an Assistant Controller, where they were responsible for managing foreign locations and reporting financial results. Mike later became the Head of Accounts Payable, overseeing all European accounts payable operations.

In 2006, Mike joined SDL plc as a Financial Controller, where they were in charge of the Amsterdam finance team and accounting for multiple legal entities in Western Europe and America. Mike implemented effective split responsibilities, leading to a 25% reduction in month closing days. Mike was later promoted to Business Controller, managing the Dev Ops department and a team of nine people across multiple locations.

After leaving SDL plc in 2016, Mike took on the role of Group Controller at Transparent, where they managed the financial operations of the group. In the same year, they joined Bluecielo, an Accruent Company, as the Corporate Controller, responsible for the company's financial controls.

From 2018 to 2021, Mike served as the International Finance Director at Accruent. In this role, they oversaw international financial activities and provided strategic financial guidance.

Currently, Mike works at CLEVR as the Group Controller, responsible for financial control within the group.

Throughout their career, Mike has achieved notable accomplishments, including successfully merging 15 Dutch legal entities into two at SDL plc and reducing headcount while increasing efficiency.

In 2013, Mike participated in the Senior Leadership Development Program at Nyenrode University, specializing in leadership.
