Andrea Schmeichel

Andrea Schmeichel has over 18 years of experience in healthcare information technology. Andrea currently serves as the Director of Implementation Services for Moxe. Prior to this, they were the Director, Affiliate - Advisory Services for Nordic Global from 2016-2021. From 2015-2016, they held the position of Director of Operations - IT Provisioning for Providence Health & Services, where they directed the operations arm of the Epic Community Connect and IT Provisioning program. From 2013-2015, they were a Program Manager - Department of Medical Informatics for Kaiser Permanente, where they directed all programs and projects for a group of nine informatics physician leads. From 2012-2013, they were a Senior Manager for Clinovations, where they directed an Epic optimization project for a large health system in the Midwest. From 2003-2012, they were an Implementation Executive for Epic Europe BV, where they directed cross-functional teams of 60+ people to implement Epic's enterprise suite of applications in large, complex health systems.

Andrea Schmeichel holds an MBA in Operations Management from the Wisconsin School of Business, as well as a B.A. in Biology and German from Earlham College. Andrea has also obtained certifications from Epic in 2003 for EpicCare Ambulatory, 2005 for EpicCare ASAP Emergency Department, EpicCare Inpatient Procedure Orders, and EpicCare Inpatient Clinical Documentation.
