Alyssa Galella

Alyssa Galella has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of public relations and communications. Alyssa started their career as a Freelance reporter for Chelsea Now in 2007. After that, they worked as an Intern / Part-Time PR Coordinator for ALISSA NEIL PR from 2006 to 2007. Alyssa then joined M Booth in 2008, where they worked as a Consumer Practice Intern and later progressed to roles of Account Coordinator, Assistant Account Executive, and Account Executive in the Consumer Technology group. Alyssa handled public relations, blogger engagement, social media strategy, and community management for various clients. In 2011, Alyssa joined Huge as a Senior Account Executive, managing both traditional and social media relations in the Consumer Tech practice. Alyssa also worked as a Senior Communications Manager and Communications Director during their time at Huge. In 2013, Alyssa worked as a Marketing Director for Honey, an enterprise startup launched from the Huge Labs incubator. Alyssa then returned to Huge in 2014 as the Director of Earned Media. Lastly, Alyssa joined Moxie Communications Group in 2015, where they progressed from the role of Director to Managing Director and Vice President. Alyssa has extensive experience in public relations, thought leadership, and working with B2B and consumer tech startups, challenger brands, and various industries such as mobile, AI, fintech, healthcare, ad tech, automotive, ecommerce, marketplace, HR/recruiting, and influencer marketing. Alyssa has worked with clients such as Evernote, Vroom, SoundHound Inc., Raise, Mammoth Media, Aspiration, SingleCare, Lili, SeedFi, Spot, Flytedesk, Ad Hoc Labs (Burner), VarageSale, ZipRecruiter, and Science Inc.

Alyssa Galella has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism & Mass Communications and Romance Languages (Spanish & Italian) from New York University. Prior to attending NYU, they completed their high school education at Wilton High School.
