Noam Arbel

CTO & Chief Architect at mPrest

Noam Arbel has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In their current role as CTO & Chief Architect at mPrest since August 2021, they are responsible for leading the productization efforts of the mPrest energy mDerms system, including product management, technical architecture, design, implementation, and cyber security consultation.

Prior to mPrest, they served as Chief Architect at BOLT Solutions Inc. from March 2020 to September 2021. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the architectural aspects of the company.

From 2017 to 2020, Arbel worked at Applied Materials as a Senior Software Architect. Noam'sresponsibilities included managing the modernization of a key system used in semiconductor fabrication processes, optimizing product software architecture, and implementing Agile and DevOps systems.

Before that, they held various roles at Schneider Electric Energy & Sustainability Services from 1998 to 2017, including Senior Global Architect, SaaS and Cloud Applications Chief Architect, and Chief Architect of the Smart Grid Program. Noam played a crucial role in designing and building cloud-based platforms, managing smart metering products, and implementing GIS energy solutions.

Arbel started their career at GE Healthcare as a Senior Software & System Engineer, where they worked from 1992 to 1997 as part of the Elscint MR team.

Noam Arbel pursued their education at several institutions. Noam attended Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 1988 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Physics. Noam furthered their studies at the same institution from 1989 to 1993 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Physics. Later, they attended Colorado State University from 1999 to 2003, where they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science. Additionally, they completed an MBA program at Colorado State University from 2002 to 2003, specializing in Executive MBA.
