Janis Fontein

Janis Fontein has a diverse work experience in various finance, operations, and administrative roles. Janis worked as a VP of Finance at mPulse Mobile since September 2021 and previously served as a Controller at the same company from September 2017 to October 2021. Before that, Janis worked as an Assistant Controller at Five Four Group in 2017.

From 2012 to 2017, they held the position of Manager Finance and Operations at Riedel Communications Inc., where they led a finance and accounting team, managed financial activities, and analyzed budget vs actual numbers. Prior to that, they worked as a Sales Administrator and Logistics Specialist, showcasing their strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

Janis started their career as a Quality Assurance Intern at Life360 in 2009 and as a Purchasing Intern at ZF TRW in 2008. Janis also gained marketing experience as a Marketing Intern at Deichmann Schuhe SE in 2007.

Janis Fontein completed their education with a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management from California State University, Long Beach in 2015. Prior to this, they earned a BA in Political Economy from the University of California, Berkeley in 2009. Janis started their academic journey at Gymnasium Broich, where they completed their high school education between 2003 and 2005.
