Kristian Alvarez Jörgensen

Kristian Alvarez Jörgensen has a diverse background in software engineering and development. Kristian started their career as a Teaching Assistant at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 2015 and 2017. In 2016, they worked as a Developer at Broman Systems and Consulting, where they researched and developed a prototype for a mobile app.

From 2018 to 2021, Jörgensen co-founded Consecio, a start-up, and served as a Co-Founder and Developer. Kristian mainly focused on the back-end development of a mobile contact management application using React Native and Scala with Play.

In 2018, Jörgensen joined Netlight as a Back-end Developer, working on a software integration solution based on Java and Spring. Kristian was responsible for setting up the CD/CI pipeline. Kristian also had a summer internship at Netlight as a Full-stack Developer, contributing to the development of an internal knowledge sharing hub.

Jörgensen worked as a Developer at Paynova in 2020, where they built APIs and integrated support for Elastq in legacy customer and back-office applications. Kristian then joined Hive Streaming in 2020 as a Software Engineer. As part of the Partner Ecosystem team, they developed an E2E testing framework and later became a member of the Endpoint Team, where they automated testing, release, and security processes and contributed to the design and development of the "Agent Booster" product.

In 2020, they joined Mpya Digital as a Software Development Consultant. Kristian focused on being an IT Consultant with a passion for DevOps and Computer Security and also coached and supported junior consultants.

Jörgensen's most recent position is as a Software Engineer at Trustly, starting in 2023.
