Head Of Growth (exec) at Mr D

Kwezi Toko has a solid work experience in various digital commerce roles. Most recently, they worked as the Head of Growth at Mr D Food since August 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Manager of Digital Commerce at Massmart from August 2018 to July 2020. Kwezi also worked as a Digital Project Leader at Leroy Merlin from December 2017 to July 2018. Before that, they were an Ecommerce Specialist at Tourvest Retail Services from November 2015 to September 2017. Kwezi started their career as a Digital Analyst at DirectAxis from April 2015 to October 2015.

Kwezi Toko completed a Master's in Management with a focus on Digital Business at Wits Business School from 2020 to 2021. Before that, from 2019 to 2020, they pursued a Post Graduate in Management, also with a specialization in Digital Business, at the same institution. Kwezi also studied Computer Science with a particular emphasis on object-oriented programming and mathematics at the University of Cape Town. They additionally obtained an Advanced Diploma in Business Project Management from the same university. In terms of certifications, Kwezi has a UCT User Experience Design certification from the University of Cape Town and a Google Analytics Individual Qualification from Google.
