Chris Funk

Chris Funk is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software development and leadership roles. Currently, Chris serves as Principal and Senior Specialist at MRE Consulting since August 2014. Prior positions include VP and OpenLink Development Manager at Citigroup, and Senior Developer roles at Clearpoint Technology and Volant Solutions. Chris has held various development leadership positions at Trendec and both Clearpoint Technology and NCI Building Systems. Earlier in the career, software development experience was gained at Duke Energy and Enron, in addition to serving as Webmaster at the University of Houston Law Library. Chris holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Houston-Downtown and has a strong foundation from education at DeSoto High School and Mackenzie High School.
