Sam Ramachandran has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Sam started their career as a Staff Consultant at TEKsystems in 1998 and then worked as a Contractor at Sprint from 1999 to 2001. Sam later joined Sabre Holdings as a Senior Software Engineer before moving on to Travelocity, Distribution (Travel Partner Network) where they served as a Manager/Solution Architect for eight years. Sam then worked as an IT Consultant at Verizon Business and as a Development Manager at Sabre Airline Solutions before taking on the role of Chief Technology Officer at CompuMatrice where they built a team of 70 members over a span of four years. Sam then served as the Director of Technology & Delivery at Vernalis, where they managed projects and technology delivery for major clients in sports and healthcare. Most recently, Sam held the position of Vice President Of Engineering at ESW Capital before moving on to their current role as the Vice President Of Architecture at MRI-Simmons.
Sam Ramachandran completed the Chief Technology Officer Program at Wharton Executive Education in 2023. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Lamar University in 1998 and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications from the University of Madras in 1995. In addition to their formal education, Sam has obtained various certifications including Business Process Design for Strategic Management from MIT Sloan School of Management, and several others from Emeritus such as Driving Strategic Innovation, Chief Technology Officer Program, Executive Presence and Influence, and Scaling a Business.
