Sowmyaa B. has over 10 years of professional experience in various industries. Sowmyaa began their career in 2010 as a Graduate Engineering Trainee at Shalivahana Green Energy Limited. In 2011, they moved to HYQUIP LTD as a Project Estimation Engineer. In 2013, they joined Vertex as a Manager of Operations and Planning. Sowmyaa then worked at Vega Conveyors & Automation Pvt. Ltd. as a Project Development Coordinator from 2016 to 2017. In 2017, they became an Engineering Technical Lead at PH1 INDUSTRY PVT LTD. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Commercial Business Development Manager at Radials International-Michelin Tyres. Most recently, they have been a Vendor Manager at mroads since 2022.
Sowmyaa B. completed their 10th grade at Zph School in 2003-2004. Sowmyaa then attended Andhra University from 2006-2010, where they obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering. Sowmyaa continued their studies at Andhra University from 2014-2016, earning their Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Machine Design. In 2014, they also obtained their Diploma in Product Designing from Pro/CAD-CAM Solutions. In 2023, they earned their Certified Vendor Manager from Vskills - India's Largest Certification Body and a certification in Inventory Management from Great Learning. Sowmyaa B. is also currently working towards a Vendor Management in Supply Chain Management certification from TCS iON.
