Chad Daniels

Chad Daniels has extensive experience in educational and project management roles, currently serving as Director of the Office of Project and Performance Management and Bureau Director of School and District Support at the Mississippi Department of Education since November 2019. Previous positions include Director of Administration at the Vermont Agency of Education and Assistant Division Director for Federal Education and Support Programs in the State of Vermont. Daniels has also contributed as an adjunct faculty member at Pearl River Community College and The University of Southern Mississippi, instructing various political science and public history courses. Additionally, Daniels directed the Mississippi Armed Forces Museum from 1999 to 2017, overseeing historical research, exhibit planning, budgeting, and public relations. An earlier career included roles as an IS Program Manager at Sunbeam Oster Corporation and an Information Systems Specialist in the United States Air Force. Chad Daniels holds advanced degrees in Political Science and History from The University of Southern Mississippi.
