Cynthia Prest

Cynthia joined MSA in 2019 as the firm’s Director of Human Resources. A key member of the executive leadership team, she provides strategic HR direction and support across the firm to drive the HR mission, objectives and operating priorities; develop and manage firm-wide talent; guide new talent acquisition, development and retention; and create a mission- and values-driven, high-performance culture.

Prest brings over 18 years of human resources and organizational development experience to MSA, with a background that includes team leadership in organizational design, employee relations, succession planning, performance management, talent acquisition, workforce planning, professional development, conflict resolution, and instructional design. She enjoys partnering with leaders on initiatives that improve employee engagement and productivity, resolve employee relations, and create talent development programs that meet the needs of employees across multiple functions and locations.

Prest earned her bachelor of art’s degree in Psychology from Warren Wilson College in Swannanoa, North Carolina and is also a certified professional coach.
