Russell Dias

Russell Dias is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in index research and operations. Currently serving as Vice President of Research at MSCI Inc. since February 2017, Russell has held various roles at the company, including Senior Research Associate and Senior Associate specializing in custom index operations. Prior to MSCI, Russell worked at Nomura for over three years in the Synthetics Prime Brokerage Middle Office, progressing from Analyst to Senior Analyst. Earlier experience includes a role as Associate at SS&C GlobeOp focused on OTC derivatives and hedge fund administration, and as a Financial Planner at Transcend Consulting (I) Private Limited. Russell holds a Bachelor of Management Studies in Finance from the University of Mumbai and a CFP in Financial Planning from Trinity Global Education.
