Alison Lai is an experienced clinical operations professional with a background in managing local operational clinical trial activities across Australia and New Zealand. Currently serving as Associate Director - Clinical Operations Manager Lead at MSD Australia & New Zealand since September 2019, Alison is accountable for ensuring compliance with ICH-GCP and local regulations. Previously, Alison held roles at Clintec and ICON Clinical Research, focusing on study lifecycle management, regulatory submissions, and team coordination in study start-up processes. Alison's career began at The Heart Research Institute and Storr Liver Unit, contributing to research on hepatic enzyme interactions. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Science from the University of Newcastle and a Master's Degree in Medicine from the University of Sydney.
