Daniel Ferris

Dan Ferris is a Principal on the Private Capital team. He joined MSD in 2020 from Searchlight Capital Partners, where he was a Principal, focused on private equity and distressed investments in the technology, media, and communications sectors. Prior to that, he worked as an Associate at Court Square, where he focused on private equity investments in the technology-enabled services sector, and at M/C Partners, where he focused on growth equity investments in both communications and technology-enabled services sectors. Previous to his experience in private equity, he was an investment banker at Evercore, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions advisory in IT services and internet infrastructure. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of West Monroe and as an Observer on the Board of Directors of Nutrisystem.

Dan received his B.A., with an Honors Specialization in Global Economics, from Western University in Canada.
