Elaine Tan

Elaine Tan is an accomplished actuarial professional currently serving as Assistant Vice President and Senior Manager, Actuarial at MSIG Asia since January 2019, where leadership encompasses a team of regional actuaries and the provision of a range of actuarial services. Prior to this role, Elaine held positions as Actuarial Manager and Actuarial Senior Executive at MSIG Singapore, focusing on portfolio performance monitoring and pricing for various insurance products. Elaine's early career included research positions at prestigious institutions such as Johns Hopkins University and A*STAR, where responsibilities included designing and conducting experiments as well as managing laboratory operations. Elaine Tan holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Bioengineering from the National University of Singapore.
