Sean Choi

Sean Choi is an accomplished financial executive with extensive experience in strategic assessment and financial analysis. Currently serving as Executive Vice President at M&T Bank since 2018, Sean Choi focuses on evaluating the strategic and financial impact of firmwide initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions and investment opportunities. Prior to this role, Sean Choi was with Credit Suisse from 2015 to 2018, advancing through positions such as Senior Vice President and Group Vice President, primarily advising North American financial institutions on M&A and financing strategies. Earlier in the career, Sean Choi served as Associate Director at Sandler O'Neill & Partners, L.P. from 2005 to 2015, and began as an Analyst at Commonfund in 2004. Sean Choi holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Economics & Management from Cornell University.
