Russell Waddell

Russell Waddell has extensive experience in the manufacturing technology sector, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees and Managing Director at MTConnect Institute since January 2017. As a Standards Committee Member, Waddell contributes to the development and maintenance of MTConnect, an open standard for machine communication on the factory floor. In addition, Waddell owns Kirk Stryker Limited since February 2023 and previously held the position of Community Lead at Tulip Interfaces from April 2022 to January 2023. Waddell's earlier role as MTConnect Product Manager at AMT - The Association for Manufacturing Technology from January 2007 to December 2016 included conducting quantitative research as an Industry Economist to support members' strategic decision-making. Waddell holds a BA in Economics and Government from William & Mary, earned between 2003 and 2007.
