Phenyo Gasebonoe

Phenyo Gasebonoe is an accomplished professional with an extensive background in product development, marketing, and communication. Currently serving as the MTN Group Manager for Gateways, Group Apps, and Ayoba since June 2022, Phenyo has been instrumental in overseeing product development from concept to launch while ensuring alignment with branding and business objectives. As the Media and Marketing Lead for the World Economic Forum Global Shapers Johannesburg Hub, Phenyo empowers young leaders to effect positive change in their communities. Previous roles include Digital Content Marketing Manager at ayoba, where leadership of content partnerships was critical, and various corporate communications positions at MTN. Phenyo holds an MBA and multiple degrees in Strategic Communications from the University of Johannesburg.
