Paul Slinger

Paul Slinger has an extensive work experience in the field of communications and public relations. Paul currently serves as a MEPRA Strategy Board Member for the Middle East Public Relations Association since 2021. Prior to this, they were the Head of Communications at Mubadala Energy starting from 2020. From 2017 to 2020, Paul worked at Edelman, where they held the positions of Head of Abu Dhabi office and Director. Before that, they worked at FleishmanHillard from 2015 to 2017 as a Director, managing various client relationships and leading mandates in the NGO sector. Paul also served as an Associate Director at FleishmanHillard from 2014 to 2015. Before joining FleishmanHillard, they were an Associate Director at Portland Communications from 2012 to 2014. Paul's early career includes roles at Edelman as an Account Director from 2006 to 2012 and at Porter Novelli as a Senior Account Executive from 2004 to 2006. Throughout their career, Paul has gained expertise in crisis management, media relations, and communications strategy development across various sectors.

Paul Slinger attended Newent Community School from 1992 to 1999. Paul later pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Political Science and Government at The University of Edinburgh from 2000 to 2004.
