William Mahmood

William Mahmood has a strong background in data science and analysis. William is currently serving as the Head of Data Science at MUBI since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Data Science at WildBrain Spark for four years, where they launched the company's first AI products and built a successful team. From 2014 to 2017, they held the position of Lead Data Scientist at Little Dot Studios, where they established the Data Science team and managed and distributed television content. Earlier in their career, from 2012 to 2014, they worked as an Insight Analyst at Beamly, a social network for TV, which was later acquired by Coty.

William Mahmood received a Bachelor of Arts degree (BA hons) in History from SOAS University of London from 2007-2011. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at City of Westminster College London from 2005-2007, Sven Eriksons Gymnasiet from 2003-2005, and International School Hilversum from 2000-2003. Additionally, they obtained certifications in R Programming and The Data Scientist's Toolbox from Coursera Verified Certificates in 2014.
