Matthew Darling

Matthew Darling has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Litigation Paralegal at Kisling, Nestico & Redick from January 2012 to August 2013. In this position, they managed a large caseload and played a key role in case preparation, including client contact, drafting pleadings, and preparing for mediation and trial. Matthew also served as the paralegal internship coordinator.

Then, from November 2013 to August 2018, Matthew worked at Critical Mention, initially as a Senior Account Manager and later as the Manager of Client Services, Director of Client Relations, and eventually the Vice President of Client Relations. Critical Mention is a media monitoring company, and Matthew was responsible for client relations, including search, clipping, and sharing television, radio, and online news content.

In 2018, Matthew joined Muck Rack, a PR software platform company. Matthew started as an Account Executive in August 2018 and quickly progressed to Sales Director in September 2019. Matthew continued to advance and became the Senior Sales Director in January 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Sales, starting in January 2022. At Muck Rack, Matthew's role involved partnering with users, finding and interacting with journalists, tracking news coverage, and improving collaboration across teams.

In addition to their other roles, in November 2021, Matthew took on the position of Gymnastics Meet Director at the YMCA of Wayne County. Overall, Matthew has proven experience in paralegal work, client relations, and sales leadership roles in various industries.

Matthew Darling has a diverse educational background. Matthew obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Ohio University between 2018 and 2020. Prior to that, they attended The University of Akron from 2005 to 2009, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science. In 2010, they furthered their education at The University of Akron, completing an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Paralegal Studies from 2010 to 2012. Additionally, Matthew has obtained certifications in areas outside of their formal education. In March 2021, they received the USAG Womens Meet Director certification from USA Gymnastics. In July 2020, they also obtained the Fundamentals of Social Media certification from Muck Rack.
