Jay Frankhouse

Jay Frankhouse has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jay is currently the Chief Innovation Officer at Mud Bay, responsible for leading the team in developing new business initiatives. Prior to this, they worked as the Managing Director at fuel D for 20 years, specializing in applied research, innovation, and program management. Jay also served as the Design Director at SpinDance Labs, where they focused on identifying and launching disruptive businesses. In addition, Jay has experience in strategy and faculty roles at NewNorth Center, where they contributed to the development of a year-long innovation methods course. Earlier in their career, they worked at JOHNSON CONTROLS INC. for 12 years, specializing in new product development and teams leadership.

Jay Frankhouse attended the College for Creative Studies where they obtained a BFA in Design. Jay also attended Oakland Community College and earned an Associates Degree in Illustration with a focus on Advertising. In 2012, they obtained a certification in Nonprofit Board Leadership from the Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy.
