Yasutaka Suehiro

Yasutaka Suehiro serves as CEO of MUFG Securities Americas Inc. (MUSA), a New York-based role he’s held since April 2022.

Mr. Suehiro has more than 30 years of experience at MUFG in Tokyo, London, Hong Kong, and New York. Prior to his current role, he was Deputy Chief Operating Officer-International of Mitsubishi UFJ Securities Holdings Co., Ltd. as of December 2021.

Mr. Suehiro has served on the boards of MUSA and MUFG Securities EMEA plc (MUSE), in addition to previously serving as Deputy CEO of MUSA and CEO of MUS (ASIA). He has spent time in the New York office as Deputy CEO, starting in 2012. Prior to this, Mr. Suehiro held several roles across the business including Head of Strategic Planning, Chief Administration Officer and a Board member of London office.

Mr. Suehiro graduated from Nagoya University in Japan with a MSc. in Aeronautical Engineering. He also holds a MSc. in Management Science degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Management.
