Muhammad Umar Ghafoor began their work experience as an Account Intern at Ittehad Chemicals Limited in August 2017, where they remained until January 2018. Following this, they joined Nexlinx Networks Pvt Ltd. in January 2018 as a Finance & Tax Executive and held this position until November 2021. Most recently, in December 2021, they joined Mughal Steel as a Senior Corporate Reporting Executive.

Muhammad Umar Ghafoor obtained their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a major in Business/Commerce, General from the University of the Punjab. Muhammad Umar was enrolled in the program from 2015 to 2017.
