Isolina Zazzara-Yu

Isolina Zazzara-Yu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Isolina started their career in 2012 as an Instructor at Pedalheads Bike Camps Inc., where they taught children of all ages and abilities how to ride a bike. In 2013, they became a Customer Service Supervisor at Spokes Bicycle Rentals, where they provided exceptional customer service and set a precedent for their colleagues.

In 2014, Isolina joined the Geography Department Student Council as the Academics Commissioner. Isolina facilitated academic discussions between students and faculty and organized career nights and networking sessions. Isolina also worked as a Walkhome - Service Staff member at Alma Mater Society, where they helped create a safer school environment by confidentially walking patrons home and providing company and support.

Isolina's experience at Queen's University as a Research Assistant in 2015 showcased their adaptability and flexibility, as they worked in extremely remote field locations assisting a team of scientists with data collection. Isolina also spearheaded the archival processes of pre-existing data and prepared collected data for future analysis.

After graduating, Isolina joined the Arts and Science Undergraduate Society as the Geography & Planning Department Student Council Co-President from 2015 to 2016. In this role, they represented undergraduate students in various boards and committees, managed the council's budget, and organized departmental events.

In 2017, Isolina started working at Binnie as a Project Management Technician until 2018. Isolina then became an Assistant Project Manager from 2019 to 2022, and eventually advanced to the role of Project Manager in 2022. At Binnie, they managed projects and coordinated with various stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.

In 2019, Isolina took on the role of Director of Operations at mugshare, where they oversee the company's operations.

Isolina Zazzara-Yu attended Queen's University from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Geography and Cartography. During their time at Queen's University, they also pursued another field of study in Geographic Information Science and Cartography. Prior to attending Queen's University, Isolina Zazzara-Yu completed their secondary education at Burnaby Central Secondary School from 2007 to 2012.

In addition to their educational background, Isolina Zazzara-Yu has obtained certifications in Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) from Queen's University in 2012 and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in December 2020.
