Xutao Ye

Xutao Ye has a range of work experience in the field of computer vision and research. Xutao started their career as a Research Engineer at the Automatic-Control Laboratory, Automation Technology Center in 2009, where they designed and constructed an experimental platform for testing networked control algorithms in wireless channels. In 2010, they became a Research Assistant at the University of Toronto, where they played a key role in the development of the LifeForce nanorobotic manipulation system. Xutao also conducted presentations and demonstrations of the system to various stakeholders. In 2012, Xutao joined Bluewrist Inc. as a Software Developer, working on the development of ScanXtream, a 3D Point Cloud Processing & Viewing Software used in robotic scanning-based dimensional inspections for quality control purposes. Their responsibilities included algorithm development, vision algorithm development, and real-time rendering. Finally, in 2014, Xutao joined MUJIN Inc as a Lead Computer Vision Engineer.
